From its foundation in 1979, the Bangladesh National Women's Lawyer's Association has upheld the rights of women and children to live a life free from discrimination and violence.

One of our main aims is to provide survivors with a secure environment where they can get professional support from counsellors and learn life skills that will help them reintegrate with their families and communities.

To do this we need a shelter offering women and children a space where they can start to reconstruct their lives. Women need a safe environment. Children need somewhere to learn and play

This is why I'm asking you to support the BNWLA Hostel Appeal and help us to raise the necessary funds, so that we can construct a new hostel that has the facilities to give these women and children the chance to rebuild their lives.
